Well last menu was a success! We did do some switching but not as much as weeks before and all the meals remained the same. So far Thursdays dinners need to be leftover night as that is our busy activity. This menu planning thing is actually working we enjoying healthy meals and saving money! We do from time to time have quick take out. I had tacos one day for lunch at work, it was rough day. I got the kids Wendy’s after playdate on Friday but overall we try to eat at home. So here goes this week’s menu…..
This week’s dinner menu:
Saturday, January 21st 2017 – Leftover (Changed from Steak Fajitas because my mom and son are going out of town for a night)
Sunday, January 22nd, 2017 – Steak Fajitas
Monday, January 23rd, 2017 – Chizzo tacos with rice and corn
Tuesday, January 24th, 2017 – Tomato-Chile Pork Chops with rice (Instantpot) and Broccoli
Wednesday, January 25th, 2017 – Grilled Pork Tenderloin with veggies
Thursday, January 26th, 2017 – Leftovers
Friday, January 27th, 2017 – One Pot Drumsticks with potatoes
Saturday, January 28th, 2017 – Chili Mac (Instantpot)
I am Vegetarian (yes, just me) I have to make veggie meals last week I ate leftovers for lunch and then picked up tacos as a treat so this week I having egg salad, soup w/ bread on my menu for lunch and dinner going to have veggie tacos and ravioli.
This week my goal again is to keep it simple and with what have in the house. All the meat I have in my freeze already, so this will make my life a little easier.
