Well last menu was all the over, lucky we did not make extra trips to the stores or order in take out. For the first time in a year we do not have an overstuffed freezer. I find that we have TONS of food in the house already. I really recommend “shopping at home” before you actually go shopping. You will spend less money and throw away less money on unneed food. We did some quick last week, like Costco and Dollar. I sent my husband (like a dummy) to grab one item at Aldi and he of course bought $20 worth of other junk! Lesson learned I have to “supervise” his shopping trips as he is a impulsive shopper. So here goes this week’s menu…..

Monday, February 13th, 2017 –Homemade Chicken Noddle Soup with Grilled Cheese
Tuesday, February 14th, 2017 – Leftover
Wednesday, February 15th, 2017 – Philly Cheese Steak Sandwiches
Thursday, Feburary 16th, 2017 – Leftovers
Friday, February 17th, 2017 – Rotisserie Chicken (Instantpot receipt from Pinterest)
Saturday, February 18th, 2017 – Tomato-Chile Pork Chops with rice (Instantpot receipt from The Great Big Pressure Cooker Book)
I am Vegetarian (yes, just me) I picked up Leftovers Calzones from Aldi so I have those for lunch and if I need more ideas then I will make egg salad to menu. For dinners I will eat veggie sausages or burgers as a replacement of meat. Also yummy homemade premium salad.
We have so much stocked up this week so my shopping list should be very minimal! I have been hoping to increasing my meal planning to once every 2 weeks but this week is not the week. I have the most pack busy week I could have dreamed of that it’s not a good week to plan 2 weeks… and due to my husband traveling in 2 weeks and just life happening I am not sure I can get 2 week menu planned until March.
- Sourdough Bread (Costco)
- Mama needs wine just a few bottles to make this week (YES, again)! (Aldi)
- Fresh veggies ( Based on price)
- 3-packs Green Peppers
- 2 packages Mushrooms
- Provolone or Muenster Cheese Brick
- Hoagie rolls
